Call for Artists

The New Mexico Aging & Long-Term Services Department is proud to announce a Call for Artists to create the featured artwork for the 2025 Commemorative Poster of the 47th Annual New Mexico Conference on Aging, taking place in September 2025. Each year, a selected artist’s work is showcased as part of the conference, celebrating creativity, aging, and community. 

The selected artist will receive a flat fee of $1,500 and must complete a licensing agreement. The final artwork will be featured on the official conference poster and promotional materials, reaching a broad audience of professionals, advocates, and older adults across New Mexico. 

Submission Guidelines: 

• The artwork must be original and not AI-generated. 

• The artwork must be original 2D artwork 

• The piece should reflect themes of aging, resilience, community, and well-being. 

Submissions must be received by May 15, 2025, at 11:59 PM MDT. 

Please review posters of years past.  Keep in mind we are looking for original artwork and want you to be as creative as possible.
